今治市姉妹都市レイクランド市から訪問団を迎えて、ポトラックパーティが開催されました。
１２人の学生と３人の引率の方が、７月８日から１８日にかけて今治市に滞在しました。
パーティの参加者たちは、それぞれが持ち寄った様々な料理を楽しむことができました。
レイクランドの学生たちがアメリカのポピュラーソングを披露し、２時間はあっという間に過ぎてしまいました。
必ずまた今治に来るから、と約束を交わす声は、いつまでも続きました。
ICIEA held a potluck party with guests from Lakeland, sister city of Imabari.
Twelve students and three chaperones visited in Imabari from July 8th to 18th this year.
The participants could try various dishes which everyone generously brought for other people’s enjoyment.
During the party some of the Lakeland guests played American songs and charmed the attendees.
Two hours had passed so quickly.
The Lakeland students pledged to come back to Imabari in the future, but it was still difficult to say good-bye.
