インド、グジャラート州出身のギリラジ・イタリヤさんを講師に迎え、外国料理教室イン
ド編を開催しました。毎回すぐに定員がいっぱいになってしまう大人気のイベントです。
今回はムングダル（緑豆）のキッチャリー（お粥）、野菜のシャーク（カレー）、ゴタ（じ
ゃがいものお団子フライ）の３品を作りました。たくさんのスパイスが入った本格的イン
ド料理でしたが、意外と日本人の口にも合ったようで、参加者たちからは「おいしい！」
の声が上がっていました。

ICIEA organized a foreign cooking class inviting Mr. Giriraj Italiya from Gujarat, India
as a cooking instructor. This is always a very popular event in which applicants for the
class reaches the limit right after we start accepting applications.
The dishes we made were Green Pea Kicchari, Shak, and Gota (green beans porridge,
vegetable curry and fried potato dumpling). A variety of spices were added to the dishes
to bring authentic Indian flavors to them. The taste was new to the participants, but
everyone really liked it!
